Placed in the new Tractrix® Horn 90°x90° tube, the 1-inch aluminium dome with kapton suspension has been enriched with LTS technology, which reduces distortion, guaranteeing even more detailed sound.

The enlarged dimensions of the tube provide better treble directionality and improvement of the soundstage, and the aluminum used increases the performance and resolution of the sound.

4-inch speakers with copper membranes, responsible for medium and low bandwidth, made of thermoformed crystalline polymer with additional ribs reducing distortion, is a valued solution known from the Reference Premiere series.

Cones of steep-angle drivers provide a smooth response in the lower band and more transparent and accurate sound.

The "edge-to-edge" loudspeaker housing is made of MDF and additionally reinforced, thanks to which vibrations have been reduced and sound precision has been improved.

The clean appearance of the front was achieved by covering the mounting screws of the transducers, and the elegant magnetically mounted grille perfectly emphasizes the modern appearance of the R-40M.
