Description
The official Raspberry Pi expansion board designed in collaboration with LEGO® Education. It is designed to make it easy to control LEGO engines and sensors with RPi minicomputers. HAT is equipped with four connectors for LEGO Technic LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime engines and sensors.
The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime 45678 set and SPIKE™ Prime Expansion 45681 set, available separately from LEGO Education retailers, contain a collection of useful elements supported by Build HAT. LEGO® Maker Plate allows you to easily connect your Raspberry Pi computers to the LEGO® building system. Connected compatible LEGO® devices can be easily controlled in Python.
Build HAT is powered by 8 V (an official Raspberry Pi 8V 6A power supply or a set of 7,5 V batteries is required). The motor and sensors connected to the module are powered directly by the expansion board (no additional power required). Full documentation is available on the product page.
