Screen with IPS matrix 10,1'' 1280 x 800 px from Waveshare. It has a capacitive touch panel. Works with Raspberry Pi version 4B, 3B+, 3B+ 2B, 1B+, 1B, 1A and Zero W via HDMI and USB cable. The set also includes a black case that houses a minicomputer with a screen attached.

Connection with Raspberry Pi

To start the screen, connect the device to the Raspberry Pi via the included HDMI and microUSB cables. HDMI connector transmits image, USB port receives touch interface data. In addition, additional power supply must be connected to the screen (the power supply is included).

Software

The screen works with the latest Raspbian system without the need to install drivers. However, in order for the screen to display the image correctly, you need to change the resolution in the configuration file. To do this, open the config.txt file with the command:

• sudo nano /boot/config.txt

and then at the end of it add the following instructions:

• max_usb_current=1
• hdmi_group=2
• hdmi_mode=1
• hdmi_mode=87
• hdmi_cvt 1280 800 60 6 0 0 0

After saving the file and restarting the raspberry, the image and touch function should work properly.
