Continuous solar power supply

One of the biggest advantages of the Tapo TC82 KIT is its solar power supply. The included Tapo A201 solar panel with monocrystalline cells effectively processes solar energy so that the camera remains charged and ready for operation. Already about 45 minutes of sunlight a day can provide energy for the entire working day of the device. The built-in lithium-ion battery allows for up to 180 days of operation, which means stable monitoring even during periods of limited sunlight. The lack of wires and easy installation make the camera can be mounted virtually anywhere – on the wall, ceiling or in the garden.

2K 3MP image – clear details and wide viewing angle

The camera captures high-resolution 2K 3MP (2304 × 1296 px) video, making the recordings much more detailed than standard Full HD cameras. The 1/2.8” Progressive Scan CMOS Starlight sensor and WDR and 3DNR technologies improve image quality, reduce noise and ensure adequate exposure both day and night. A wide viewing angle of up to 125° allows you to monitor a larger area without the need for additional cameras. It is an ideal solution for observing the driveway, entrance to the house or garden.

Colorful night vision up to 9 meters

Thanks to the large F1.65 aperture, Starlight technology and two built-in headlights, the camera allows observation even after dark. Colorful night vision allows you to see details in natural colors even in complete darkness. The night view range is up to 9 meters, which increases the effectiveness of monitoring and makes it easier to identify people or events. Built-in IR LEDs 850 nm support the camera in very low light conditions.

Intelligent motion detection and real-time notifications

TP-Link Tapo TC82 KIT uses AI algorithms to detect people, thus reducing the number of false alarms triggered, e.g. by animals or moving leaves. The camera automatically sends notifications to your smartphone when it detects movement in the designated area. With the configurable activity zones feature, you can specify exactly which places to monitor – e.g. entrance door or entrance to the property. In addition, the camera is equipped with an audible alarm with a volume of 94 dB and headlights that can scare off a potential intruder.

Flexible recording options

The camera offers two convenient methods of storing video footage. Recordings can be saved locally on a microSD card up to 512 GB or in the cloud as part of the Tapo Care service. Local recording allows you to store recordings at no additional charge, while the cloud provides additional data security and access to recordings from anywhere. The camera records events when motion is detected, which saves space on the memory card.

Weather resistant – ideal for outdoor monitoring

The camera housing has an IP65 rating, which means high resistance to dust, rain and harsh weather conditions. The device can work in temperatures from -20°C to 45°C, so it will work all year round. 2,4 GHz wireless Wi-Fi connectivity and integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant allow you to conveniently control the camera and check the image with voice commands. All functions can be operated from the intuitive Tapo application on your smartphone.
