No. The camera uses a nano SIM card and 4G LTE network of the mobile operator. It works wherever there is GSM coverage — no Wi-Fi, no router, no network cables.

❓ Which SIM card should I use?

Nano SIM of any operator (Plus, Play, Orange, T-Mobile) — no PIN code, with an active Internet package. The card must have a minimum of 1 cent in your account.

❓ How much internet does the camera use?

Communication with the server is okay. 5 GB per month. With frequent live views, consumption increases to 25 to 50 GB. Recommended package: 10 to 25 GB per month.

❓ How long does the camera work without the sun?

In the mode after detecting movement (clips 5/10/20 s), the 15600 mAh battery lasts for several days even without recharging. 24/7 continuous — less, about 2 to 3 days.

❓ Does the camera work in winter?

Yes. The operating temperature range is −30°C to +60°C and IP65 protection class. The camera works in polish winter, autumn rains and summer heat without any problem.

PIR detector reacts to any source of heat – man, dog, roe deer. You can set the detection sensitivity in the application: at low, the camera ignores small objects (cats, birds, small animals).

❓ Can I share a preview with someone else?

Yes. The Ubox app allows several users to use one camera from different phones. You grant permissions (preview, PTZ control, access to recordings) yourself.
