A high-quality 1/2.9" progressive scan CMOS image sensor was used to build the camera. Thanks to it, it is able to generate detailed and full of vivid colors video material. The maximum available image resolution is 2560 x 1440 (30 fps @ 4 Mpx max). Video material in 4 Mpx resolution correctly reproduces the small details of the observed plan and allows you to make an effective digital zoom. The effective detection, observation, recognition and identification distance for the camera is:

The camera is also equipped with a fixed focal length lens with a focal width of 2.8 mm (F1.6). It provides a relatively wide viewing angle (94° horizontal / 52° vertical), thanks to which the camera is universal and works great in the implementation of the general preview function. For example, placed in a corner of a relatively small room, it should be able to observe them whole. An additional advantage of cameras with fixed-focal lenses is usually better image quality, compared to their counterparts with adjustable lenses.

Network interface

Remote camera capability

The camera has a built-in WEB Server and a fast ethernet network interface, thanks to which you can establish a remote connection with it. A remote user can e.g. View the image from the camera "live" or play recordings saved on the microSD card. If it has system administrator privileges, it can also remotely change the camera operating parameters. The available functionality during remote work depends on how the connection is compiled, which can be implemented using:

• Web browser, from which the user has access to full functionality and can freely configure the camera operating parameters
• Dedicated software BCS Manager, used to build an advanced monitoring system management center from a computer

The camera supports Power over Ethernet technology, which enables data and electricity transmission over the same UTP cable. Effective observation of a strongly contrasting scene

A big advantage of the BCS-L-EIP14FSR3L3 camera is the hardware implementation of the function of a wide dynamic range WDR 120 dB. It provides a large tonal span, allowing you to observe the plan on which light and dark objects are located at the same time. Thanks to the WDR function, the camera can effectively observe objects placed on a very bright background or objects in the shade when the rest of the plans are well lit.

For example, a camera with a WDR of 120 dB can be mounted inside the room and turned towards the glass entrance. Even during sunny days, the faces of people entering the facility will not be darkened and their identification will be possible.

A characteristic feature of the BCS-L-EIP14FSR3L3 camera is the built-in IR illuminator and LED illuminator. In standard operating mode, when the camera is operating in night mode, the IR illuminator is turned on. When the camera detects human movement, it activates the LED illuminator and generates a color image. Thanks to this, the video material at key moments of surveillance is of the highest quality, which can help identify the intruder. The user also has the option of setting the IR illuminator or LED illuminator permanently to work in night mode.

The effective range of IR illuminator and LED illuminator is up to 30 m.

The camera is also equipped with a mechanical sliding infrared filter (ICR). In day mode, it is active and reflects a significant part of infrared radiation. Thanks to this, the generated image retains high quality and natural colors. When the camera switches to night mode, the filter is automatically removed from the transducer. Sensitivity parameters are improved and it is possible to work with artificial IR lighting.

H.265+ compression and dual encoding stream

Effective remote viewing and high quality recordings at the same time

The camera uses advanced image compression H.265, which is the successor to the popular H.264 compression in CCTV systems. The newer version enables up to twice as much data compression, with virtually unchanged image quality. Thanks to this, it is possible to archive recordings from a longer period and further reduce the bandwidth requirements of the Internet connection. Supported Image Compression:
