With each replacement, you only throw a small carbon block into the basket. The plastic casing of the cartridge remains - it is reusable and lasts for many years. This translates into a dramatic reduction in waste compared to jug filters or bottles.

▌ FAQ — COMMON QUESTIONS

1. Does EcoPro fit my faucet?

The filter fits the vast majority of standard kitchen faucets equipped with an unscrewable aerator. The set includes an adapter for various thread sizes. We do not recommend mounting on flexible faucets, with a pull-out handset and IKEA brand faucets that have custom spouts.

2. How long does assembly take?

Assembly takes literally several dozen seconds. You unscrew the aerator (often your hands are enough, or a pipe wrench), wind the adapter and filter – ready. No tools, no plumbers.

3. When to exchange a contribution?

The filter cartridge should be replaced after 3 months or after filtering 1200 liters of water – whichever comes first. Importantly: the replacement is carried out at the latest after 3 months, regardless of how intensively you used the filter. The dater on the case helps you remember that.

4. What do we replace — the whole filter or just the cartridge?

Only replaceable carbon block – the plastic cartridge housing remains and serves for many years. This generates 85% less plastic waste than when using classic filters or bottled water.

5. Does the filter remove calcium and magnesium?

No. EcoPro does not soften water – natural minerals such as calcium, magnesium and sodium remain in the water. The filter removes unwanted substances (chlorine, heavy metals, microplastics) and not nutrients.

6. Can I still use the faucet normally after installing the filter?

Yes. The filter is equipped with a lever that switches the stream between filtered and unfiltered water in one motion. You can use unfiltered water to wash your hands, dishes or vegetables – which further saves the life of the cartridge.

7. Is the filter suitable for hard water?

Yes. The EcoPro filter effectively reduces limescale build-up thanks to its patented formula in the carbon block. In the case of very hard water, part of the stone may still be visible, but its amount and structure will be significantly smaller.

8. Is the filter safe for children?

The filter removes chlorine, microplastics and heavy metals from the water, which positively affects the quality of drinking water by children. For infants and young children, we recommend consulting a pediatrician about any additional water requirements.

9. What is the cost of use?

One replacement cartridge lasts for 3 months. On a monthly basis, clean water from the EcoPro filter costs about two coffees – much less than regular purchases of bottled water.

10. Does the filter affect water pressure?

The filter may slightly reduce the flow of water compared to the operation of the faucet without a filter, however, under normal conditions the difference is not felt. The filtration capacity is 4 liters per minute.
