Indications for use, specifying the target species: Invasion of deltamethrin-sensitive parasites.

Dogs (> 25 kg) - for large and very large dogs. For dogs: prevention of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus sanguineus) due to acaricidal activity for 6 months. Prevention of mosquito bites (Phlebotomus perniciosus) thanks to the deterrent effect (prevents foraging) for a period of 5 months. Prevention of mosquito bites (Culex pipiens) thanks to the repellent effect (prevents foraging) for a period of 6 months.

Contraindications:

• In the absence of adequate studies, do not use in puppies below 7. week of age.
• Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
• Do not use in cats.
• Do not use in dogs with skin lesions.

Precautions for use:

Accidental ingestion of this product may cause adverse reactions, including neurotoxic effects. Keep the collar in the sachet until it is used. Do not smoke, eat or drink when in contact with the collar. Keep away from food, drinks and feed. Do not allow children to play with the collar or put it in their mouths. Remove any residue or cut-off collar components immediately. After putting on the collar, wash your hands with cold water. In case of accidental contact with the mouth or ingestion, seek medical advice and show the package leaflet or the label to the physician. Avoid prolonged contact with the collar or dog wearing the collar. This includes avoiding sleeping in the same bed with a dog wearing a collar; this is especially important for children. Deltamethrin may cause hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions). People with known hypersensitivity to deltamethrin should avoid contact with this veterinary medicinal product and the animal wearing it. If you experience a hypersensitivity reaction, seek medical attention.
