Downfiring system bass reflex
Theater 500S has a bass reflex system that sends a signal down. This allows you to position the system close to the wall or anywhere in the room, and the soundstage will remain unchanged. The extremely large bass reflex channel prevents noise at high volume levels.
Time Alignment technology
The specifically recessed tweeter Theater 500S corrects differences during propagation and provides a well-built sound. Vocals, instruments and sound effects will be played cleanly and naturally. Just like during a concert, you will be able to recognize and locate the positions of individual instruments and vocalists.
Constant Directivity Concept
The completely newly formed Waveguide and Phase Plug guarantee wide and even sound dispersion (light gray area). Advantage for you: In every position in the room, you listen to the same sound with equally good speech understanding and location.
Two-way system
Our engineers in Berlin have constructed the speakers so that the frequency of system division does not lie in the area of voices and instruments, and thus, reproduces their sound extremely naturally. Klippel’s measurement technique makes Theater perfect: Even the smallest shortcomings in the course of membrane vibration will be detected and removed.
Reduced to sound
The crossover was built straight to prevent phase shifts. The result is an extremely balanced sound image. At the same time, the woofers can handle huge bass. Theater 500S belongs to the rack speakers with the strongest bass on the market.
