Calibration certificate is a document issued by the manufacturer in the production process of the meter confirming the granting of metrological properties and maintaining measurement consistency. This is a document issued only for brand new measuring instruments.

On the calibration certificate there is a place to enter the date of commissioning, this is the date of sale of the meter. Another execution of the metrological confirmation (calibration) is recommended to be carried out within 12 months from the date of purchase, but not later than 24 months from the date of manufacture. When purchasing at our auctions, you are entitled to a 10% discount on the next calibration in our laboratory.

Application

MIC-10 is an insulation resistance meter that is always worth having on hand when performing electrical work – even the simplest ones – in places powered by low voltage: electrical installations in single- and multi-family buildings, public facilities or small workshops and plants. Thanks to the measuring voltage settings of 50 V, 100 V or 250 V, the device is perfect for quick verification of the insulation condition of telecommunications installations and control cables.

Possibilities

Measuring voltage settings of 500 V or 1000 V perfectly fit into the guidelines for assessing the effectiveness of protection of power cables, but also floors and walls – here an additional accessory in the form of a PRS-1 probe is used.

With the MIC-10 meter you can check whether the object is live (measurement range up to 600 V), even if it is an overhead or cable network (measuring category CAT IV 600 V of the instrument). You will verify the continuity of the wires, e.g. protective and compensatory connections – current not less than 200 mA in accordance with PN-EN 61557-4. You will check the capacitance of starting capacitors in household appliances and drives of all types (measurement range up to 10 µF).

All this makes the MIC-10 a must-have tool and should be in every service technician’s tool bag.
