Incredibly fast internal M.2 NVMe SSD storage

The built-in M.2 NVMe SSD increases storage capacity by 1 TB with Thunderbolt 5 certified Kingston PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage without having to connect another device to an Echo dock or computer. Access data at speeds up to 6100 MB/s – ideal for professional content creation and application storage – and effortlessly store large files, media libraries or Time Machine® backups.

Faster Ethernet transfers over existing cabling

The Echo 13 Thunderbolt 5 SSD Dock, equipped with 2,5-gigabit Ethernet, supports 2,5 Gbps link speeds over regular Cat 5e cabling (or better) when used with a compatible 2,5 Gbps Ethernet-enabled Ethernet or NAS switch, saving you on the cost of another adapter. You can get a big performance boost - 250 percent Gigabit Ethernet speed - without having to change the wiring! When connected to a switch or NAS without Ethernet 2,5 Gbps support, the Sonnet docking station also supports 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps link speeds.

Fast 10 Gbps USB ports for bus-powered devices

The Echo 13 Thunderbolt 5 SSD Dock is equipped with three USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) Type-A ports - one on the front and two on the back that support super-fast USB NVMe SSDs at full speed. Unlike some other docking stations, the Echo 13 also does not skimp on power - each port provides up to 7,5 W, ensuring trouble-free operation of devices powered from the bus.

Display options: Thunderbolt port connections - connect 8K or three 4K monitors

Depending on your computer’s video capabilities, the Thunderbolt ports of the Echo docking station can support one (always 4K, 5K or 6K) monitor, two 8K monitors or up to three 4K monitors; see technical specifications. You can connect Thunderbolt 3, 4, and 5 or USB-C monitors directly. You can also connect other types of displays (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc. ) using a Thunderbolt compatible adapter (sold separately).

When connected to a laptop computer using the included Thunderbolt 5 cable, the Echo 13 Thunderbolt 5 SSD Dock provides up to 140W of power (Power Delivery), which means it can power and charge your computer when plugged in, even when not in use, allowing you to leave your computer's power adapter packed.

Connect and secure

Thunderbolt 5 cable included. Sonnet attaches a Thunderbolt cable to the Echo 13 Thunderbolt 5 SSD Dock, which supports maximum Thunderbolt 5 bandwidth and charging capability. This cable is compatible with all Thunderbolt 5, 4, 3, and USB4 computers.

Kensington Security Lock. With 1 TB of valuable data inside, you should secure your Echo docking station with Kensington Security Lock (sold separately).
