The HD710 Pro withstands shocks, drops and vibrations thanks to its additionally reinforced three-layer design. The drive passed the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 test for devices used by the US Army, which means that it successfully withstands falls from a height of 1,5 meters. Comprehensive protection thanks to durable three-layer construction

No matter what data you store on your drive, the HD710 Pro will always provide the same reliable protection. The disk enclosure consists of three layers. The first is a layer of silicone, the second is a shock absorbing buffer, and the third, located closest to the disk itself, plastic that keeps the disk in a safe position.

Smaller external drives keep their work going even after a fall or when they experience a shock, leading to errors and the formation of damaged sectors.
