The Umidigi Bison X10S is roughly the same as the Umidigi Power 5S , but has a more rugged design with IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certification. The smartphone offers an impressive 6150 mAh battery that provides good battery life. Umidigi Bison X10S is exactly the same as Umidigi Bison X10G , except for their construction.

Design and display
The Umidigi Bison X10S offers a rugged design that can handle harsh environments and is able to withstand falls from a height of up to 1,8 meters. Most of the body has a Storm Grey AG Matte Fiberglass finish with rounding around the corners covered with rubber pads that absorb pressure when falling. The camera lens is also protected by a durable material that allows it to be used underwater.
All this makes the smartphone trustworthy even in adverse conditions, which resulted in the rating of IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G.
The IP68 rating means that in water up to 1,5 m deep it will last 30 minutes and is also resistant to dust and sand. With IP69K protection, the Umidigi X10S can withstand steam pressures up to 100 bar (1450 psi) or water pressures and temperatures up to 80℃.
In addition, thanks to MIL-STD-810G, it achieves military-grade durability. The smartphone has a lanyard hook, which allows you to attach a leash to it and hang it around your neck.
Umidigi Bison X10S has a 6,53-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display is suitable for watching videos and browsing the web.
In addition to the usual power and volume control buttons, the smartphone is equipped with two customizable buttons. One of the buttons allows you to take underwater photos.
You can also assign actions to buttons so that a single click, double click or long press of a button activates e.g. access to the application or take a screenshot.
However, this model lacks a fingerprint scanner. However, if you want a fingerprint reader, choose Bison X10S NFC (if available in your country).
Cameras
The Umidigi Bison X10S has a similar triple camera configuration to the Power 5S. It offers a 16-megapixel main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 6-element lens, a 5-megapixel camera macro and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119° field of view.
The rear camera captures panoramic and HDR images and has a dual LED flash. Both cameras can record Full HD videos.
Hardware and software
Umidigi X10S contains the same quad-core Unisoc T310 chipset (12nm), which is located in Umidigi A13s , Umidigi A11s i Power 5S. The chipset is based on a dual-core architecture with a Cortex-A75 2,0 GHz processor and a Cortex-A55 1,8 GHz tri-core processor.
Built-in memory can be expanded via a hybrid microSD slot with support for up to 256 GB of additional memory via a memory card. However, for this you need to sacrifice one slot for a SIM card.
An affordable rugged smartphone promises great battery life with an impressive 6150 mAh battery. It boasts up to 52 hours of talk time, up to 28 hours of video playback, and up to 550 hours of standby time.
Out of the box, the Umidigi Bison X10S runs on Stock Android 11. It also includes useful software tools for outdoor use such as noise test, compass, gradiometer, altitude measurement, magnifying glass, protractor, pedometer and Plumb-bob.
Communications
It also has a built-in FM antenna so you don't have to plug your headphones into the headphone jack to listen to FM radio, which is very convenient.
