Automatic charger Stef-Pol EST-517 is designed for self-charging maintenance-free batteries, gel batteries and charging lead-acid batteries with a voltage of 12V and a capacity of 74-250Ah. It is an essential device for any passenger car owner, as well as a boat or caravan owner. The charger is equipped with a tilt indicator, which indicates the current that we charge the battery. The controls on the charger inform the user about the stages of operation of the device, and using the knob you can set the value of the battery charging current.

The Stef-Pol EST-517 automatic charger is equipped with several protections. One of them is the 14,9V charging voltage limiter, another is short circuit protection systems and the effects of reverse connection of terminals to the battery poles. It is also necessary to mention the system protecting the device from overheating. The advantage of the charger is that after the charging process is completed, it goes into voltage backup mode, preventing the battery from being discharged and not overcharging. Charging the battery with the Stef-Pol EST-517 charger is divided into two phases. In the first phase, the battery is charged with a constant current. In the second phase, charging is carried out at a constant voltage. The transition from the first phase to the second phase is automatic.
