Post design

The bollard (bottle) type means the vertical positioning of the hydraulic cylinder, which translates into stability during lifting and a small mounting trace. The force is transferred directly in the vertical axis, which minimizes the risk of lateral displacement under load.

Hydraulic valve system

The precise valve system controls the flow of hydraulic oil, allowing gradual and controlled lifting even at a maximum load of 2 tons. Valves ensure that the working position is maintained without the piston falling automatically.

Working range 148 – 280 mm

The minimum working height of 148 mm allows the use of a lift under vehicles with relatively low clearance. A working stroke of 132 mm (the difference between minimum and maximum height) is sufficient for standard service work, such as wheel replacement or access to the braking system.

Compact dimensions and weight

The weight of about 2,2 kg allows you to move and store the tool freely. The lift does not require a permanent place in the workshop – it can be stored in the toolbox or trunk of the service vehicle.

How to check compatibility with a vehicle

Before use, measure the ground clearance of the vehicle at the site of the planned lift substitution. The minimum working height of KD1980 shall be 148 mm — the lift may be used under vehicles whose support point (longitudinal beam, axle) is at least 148 mm above the ground. The maximum height of 280 mm determines the upper lifting range – if the required stroke is greater, it is necessary to use a lift with a larger stroke or spacers.

Use and maintenance

Before each use, check the level of hydraulic oil and make sure that the support surface is stable and horizontal. The bottle lift is not a safety device – when working under the vehicle, the use of additional supports (workshop goats) is required. After completion of work, the drain valve should be tightly tightened, and the lift stored in an upright position in a dry place, away from heat sources and corrosive substances.
