Indiana Line Diva 3 is a refined to the smallest detail, versatile 2-way design, which was inspired by the previously offered stand loudspeakers from this series. However, the Diva 3 model uses many improvements that have provided an improvement in the quality of the sound played. The introduced improvements concern both the technical solutions used, materials and components. Diva 3 is perfect especially for smaller rooms where it is difficult to set up floor columns.

New installment of the top Diva series

Among the Indiana Line models available on the market, it is the loudspeakers from the Diva series that occupy a special place. This top-of-the-line product line from the brand perfectly combines sophisticated design with solid workmanship and high-quality sound reproduction. Models from the new Diva series have mechanically and acoustically stable housings and a stylish finish, thanks to which they perfectly fit into the decor of any interior. The front panel of the column is painted with matte varnish (white or black, depending on the color version). The rest of the box is covered with PVC veneer. There are two color options: black front with black case box or white front panel with oak case.

Slightly sloping front of the case

Model Diva 3 is a loudspeaker, the housing of which consists of two parts made of MDF. The first part is in the front panel with a thickness of 25 mm, which increases the mechanical stability of the housing, and at the same time prevents the formation of unwanted resonances, thus improving the readability of the sound. There is a bass reflex hole on the front, which allows you to position the column close to the wall. The set includes a foam plug, which helps to control the level of low frequencies and adjust the sound to the user's preferences. The front is gently tilted back. It was placed shallower at the bottom and deeper at the top of the column. Attractive design is emphasized by magnetically attached, acoustically transparent grille.

Transducers with improved design

The midrange driver in the stand-alone Diva 3 model has a new speaker basket design. Its ribbed is now more streamlined, and thus does not interfere with the free flow of air around the back of the membrane, which reduces unwanted resonances. The basket has been developed specifically for proper cooperation with the new, proprietary Dual-Wave suspension. This makes the whole structure not only sound good, but also look extremely aesthetically pleasing.

Low-midrange speaker with Curv diaphragm

The 15-centimeter midrange driver in the 2-way Diva 3 column has a membrane made of Curv material (polypropylene composite), which allows you to achieve a natural sound with precisely processed low frequencies. It is worth emphasizing that these membranes are produced on special order exclusively for Indiana Line.

Optimized low-midrange speaker drive

The magnetic circuit in the midrange speaker has been optimized by computer finite element analysis (FEA) to improve parameters in the widest possible amplitude and frequency range. The magnetic core of the transducer is highly saturated. This reduces the inductance of the coil and eliminates distortion caused by changes in this inductance. In addition, inductance is linearized as in many other models of the Indiana Line brand – using the Aluring demodulation ring. Thanks to this, the sound is clear and clear, regardless of the volume level, and the speakers are not afraid to play even the most demanding songs or music genres.

Upper diaphragm suspension – Dual-Wave

The midrange driver in the Indiana Line Diva 3 column boasts a precisely designed Dual-Wave top suspension that extends the range of linear speaker operation. It allows you to reduce distortion (including intermodulation distortion), which translates into improved articulation throughout the range from low bass to the center of the acoustic band. This is felt in the sound of a wide range of instruments, especially percussion, string and acoustic instruments. Dual-Wave suspension also reduces the unevenness of frequency characteristics resulting from resonances at the edges of the midrange driver diaphragm. What’s more, the Dual-Wave suspension looks extremely aesthetically pleasing, reminiscent of professional stage constructions in which the so-called. harmonica springs.

Modified tweeter with new faceplate

The tweeter in the Diva 3 model has a unique radial damping chamber, which is a unique feature of the Indiana Line speakers. It surrounds the transducer coil and allows you to achieve the natural sound of sopranos, and also allows you to avoid undesirable resonances typical of conventional speaker designs. The front of the tweeter is cast aluminum and has a rubber surface, which helps to properly shape the dispersion of high frequencies and fill the listening room with them.

Computer-optimized crossover

The speaker crossover for the Diva 3 has been computer optimized. Thanks to this, it was possible to predict and check the behavior of individual elements even before the physical crossover was created. Its simple but at the same time extraordinary topology was selected especially for the Diva 3 model and electroacoustic transducers used and subjected to many hours of listening tests to verify the obtained effects. The result is an even frequency response and low distortion and low power loss. Proper adjustment of parameters with an impedance minimum of 4 ohms means that the loudspeaker can work with virtually any amplifier. Only air coils and foil capacitors were used in the tweeter filter section, which avoided unwanted distortions, often occurring in the case of electrolytic capacitors or ferrite core coils.
