INSTRUCTIONS

2-layer method for the first care of the chain or when you want to completely renew Pro Wax:

First, clean the chain (also new) with Degrease or Chain Clean (see How to use Degrease/Chain Clean). When the chain dries, apply the first layer of Pro Wax to the center of each link along the entire length of the chain as it rotates. After drying, turn the chain without moving. Then leave Pro Wax to dry for 3 hours.

After these 3 hours or more, apply a second coat in the same way as the first and let it dry again. In this way, your chain is perfectly cared for and each link well saturated with Pro Wax. Now it lasts many kilometers.

Pro Wax for racing bikes, electric bikes and commuters:

After cleaning the chain, you can drive about 3OO km along the way with a silent transmission that stays very clean without touching it.

After these several hundred km, only an "indirect inspection" remains. In other words, simply wipe the chain and cassette clean and dry with a cloth, then apply one coat of Pro Wax to the center of each link. Allow to dry for 2 hours and set off again on the road for 300 km.

If you want to clean your bike at the same time, do it with Bike7 Clean and water, and after drying the chain, apply Pro Wax.

You can do this several times before you completely renew Pro Wax.

Pro Wax for MTB and E-MTB bikes:

Pro Wax can handle the toughest disciplines and even the longest marathon distances. Keeping a bottle in your pocket “when you need it” is a thing of the past.

Very simple: if you clean your bike only with water and Bike7 Clean, after drying you can simply wipe the chain with a dry microfiber cloth and possibly dry the chain and transmission. Then apply only one coat of Pro Wax and let it dry.

After a few weeks (depending on weather conditions, number of rides) or if you feel that your chain is running less smoothly, completely refresh Pro Wax completely degreasing the transmission and using the two-layer method.

Riders usually completely renew Pro Wax before each major race to save maximum energy (watts) during the race. (to lose little power as a result of friction).
