The STIHL MS 261 C-M combustion saw is ideally equipped for forestry work in small and medium-sized wood resources. This professional chainsaw is designed for versatile use. With a power-to-weight ratio of 1,6 kg/kW, it provides high maneuverability and strength, so you can quickly and effectively trim and trim wood to length as well as cut thinner trees.

The STIHL 2-MIX engine with 3,0 kW (4,1 hp) provides the necessary power with low fuel consumption. This chainsaw with internal combustion drive is equipped with STIHL M-Tronic, which enables fast operation and optimal engine performance at a constant maximum speed. This supports the start-up process and regulates the ignition time as well as fuel dispensing. Combined with the STIHL Light 04 guide, the STIHL .325" RS Pro chainsaw offers high cutting performance with reduced weight.

Thanks to the long-life air filter system with pre-filter and HD2 air filter, the operating time is also extended, which increases the intervals between subsequent services.

Durable Air Filter System for Saws

LONGER FILTER LIFE. The pre-filter removes coarse, larger particles from the air stream before they reach the correct filter. The HD2 filter keeps even fine dust away from the engine, ensuring a long engine life, long cleaning intervals, and easy maintenance of the saw. Only when equipped with a pre-filter and HD2 filter can we talk about a durable air filtration system for chainsaws. This system provides a much longer filter life compared to traditional air filtration systems.

Filter Hd2

The new HD2 filter is made of polyethylene and has up to 70% finer pores compared to fliss or polyamide filters, which in practice means filtering the smallest particles of impurities. Compensatory

LESS MAINTENANCE. The adjustment system in the carburetor, compensator, by equalizing the pressure causes that despite the increasing pollution of the air filter, the engine power, exhaust quality and fuel consumption for a long time remain almost unchanged. Therefore, the air filter should be cleaned only after a clear decrease in parameters. Thanks to this, it is possible to work without maintenance for a long time.

Tool-Free Oil Tank Closure

QUICK AND EASY OPERATION. With a tool-free tank closure, you can easily open and close the oil and fuel tank with a bayonet closure.

Stihl Ematic system

REDUCES OIL CONSUMPTION. The STIHL Ematic system consists of a STIHL Ematic or Ematic S guide, a STIHL Oilomatic saw chain and a flow-controlled oil pump. It ensures that the chain oil reaches where it is needed for lubrication. This reduces oil consumption by up to 50%. When working in conditions of high dustiness or using long guides, you can easily and quickly increase the amount of oil at any time thanks to the new oil pump system.

Carburetor Preheating System

STIHL chainsaws equipped with a carburetor preheating system are reliable even when it is cold outside: in winter mode, heated air flows around the carburetor. This solution effectively prevents the carburetor from icing.

Nut With Loss Protection

When replacing the cutting set, a practical drive wheel cover nut with protection against loss was used.

Four-channel Stihl Technique

In four through channels, the fuel-air mixture is swirled before ignition. This ensures better fuel combustion and significantly increases engine efficiency. The result: lower fuel consumption and high torque in a wide range of revolutions.

Manual Decompression

LIGHT START-UP. The decompression valve makes it easy to start the device. Opening the valve during start-up allows the release of part of the compressed mixture from the cylinder. This protects the starting system and requires less force on the starter line.

Multifunctional Lever With Stop Function

FACILITATES OPERATION. Only one starting position on the multifunction lever is required. When switched off, thanks to the STOP function, the control lever automatically returns to the working position. This allows you to immediately restart the hot machine.

Engine Stihl 2-Mix

EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE. With the STIHL 2-Mix engine, you can reduce emissions and fuel consumption, as well as operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is designed to require no frequent maintenance and consume fuel even at high power. As fuel, a mixture of gasoline and engine oil should be used. The STIHL 2 Mix engine complies with the strict EU emission directive, level V.

Anti-vibration system Stihl

PROVIDES A MORE COMFORTABLE WORK. When increasing the power of the device, vibrations are created, which are particularly noticeable in the grip area.
