Description

Module with 16-channel GPIO expander based on AW9523 chip. It allows you to expand the number of inputs and outputs of the microcontroller, as well as directly control LEDs (with 256 brightness levels) without the need to add a resistor. The expander is perfect for connecting buttons, as it has the ability to generate an interrupt in the event of a change in the state on the input. The module is powered by voltage from 2,5 V to 5,5 V, and communication is via the I2C interface (STEMMA QT connector). Full documentation is available on the product page. The manufacturer also provides an easy-to-use library for Arduino and CircuitPython.
