Description
Audio digital-to-analog converter module with PCM5102 chip designed to work with single-board computers Raspberry Pi 5, 4 and 3. It communicates via the I2S interface via a 40-pin GPIO connector, which also provides +5 V power supply. The stereo audio output is available on the 3,5 mm Jack socket. The chip allows you to play PCM signal in I2S or Left-Justified formats with a resolution of 16, 20, 24 or 32 bits and sampling rate from 8 kHz to 384 kHz. The built-in audio PLL allows you to generate a SCK signal from the BCK signal without the need for an external oscillator. The audio output is characterized by a voltage of 2,1 V RMS without a capacitor cutting off the constant component. The module can be powered directly from the Raspberry Pi or independently as an external DAC working with another I2S source, e.g. S/PDIF receiver. The analog and digital sections have separate voltage stabilizers MIC5209 3.3 V, which improves interference separation.
