The device allows for easy diagnosis and quick detection of gasket damage under the head.

• In the case of a damaged gasket under the head or the head itself, part of the exhaust gases. containing m.in. CO2 goes into the cooling system. The principle of operation of the instrument is based on the measurement of CO2 content in the cooling system. The reaction fluid in the tester chamber will react with gases from the cooling system and in case of increased CO2 content will change color. The two-chamber design of the instrument (with filter between chambers) allows the residue to be separated in the first chamber (e.g. drops of refrigerant). which could adversely affect the test result.

Note: During the check, the temperature of the radiator is very high, special care should be taken!

Reaction fluid can cause skin and eye irritation. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Use safety glasses.
