Electric bicycles have high requirements that distinguish them from standard bicycles. To meet these requirements, Finish Line has developed a lubricant specifically designed for electric bicycles. Using the latest lubrication technology and taking into account the specifications of electric bike manufacturers, Finish Line strives to keep electric bikes running as new as possible for as long as possible. Electric drive systems are subjected to extremely high loads and torques. Most electric bike systems add up to 250W of power generated by the rider’s legs, and some high-performance models add 350W or more. This constant high power means that the chain wears out much faster. The goal of the Finish Line when developing electric bicycle chain lubricant was to create a lubricant that not only withstands the high torque associated with electric drives, but also provides long periods between lubrications, disperses dirt, prevents premature wear and provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion.
