ESI Grips - Extra Chunky - AQUA

Grips ESi Extra Chunky are modified Chunky. The modification consists only in their mass and increasing the circumference, and they are directed mainly to gravitational disciplines where a good and reliable grip on the steering wheel is half the battle.

ESIgrips are designed specifically for cyclists by cyclists.

ESIgrips are designed to maximally dampen vibrations and vibrations transmitted to the steering wheel (thicker side) and optimally adapt to the hand, so that contact with the steering wheel through the grip is maximum (thinner side).

ESIgrips are used and tested by players around the world.

ESIgrips do not have any grooves, reinforcements or logos on the contact surface with the hand. The special design of the "silicone foam" with plastic properties fits perfectly into the hand, and after finishing the ride returns to its original form. Regardless of the time of use, the grips always remain as good as new.

Assembly:

In order to properly mount the ESIgrips grips, the steering wheel surface should be thoroughly degreased, preferably with glass cleaner or alcohol-based preparation.

Then wipe the ESI grips from the inside with the same liquid and still wet put on the handlebars with a thinner side towards the ground.

Allow to dry for 24 hours.

For assembly we do not need to use, no adhesive preparations.

Disassembly:

In order to remove the ESI grips from the handlebar, slide the "pick" or screwdriver between the grip and the handlebar. This should be done gently so as not to scratch the steering wheel and damage the grip itself.

In the resulting gap between the steering wheel and the ESI grip, we force the window cleaner into the same liquid that was used to mount the grips or simply clean water.

Then squeeze the grips several times as if we wanted to squeeze them. If you want to reinstall them, wash the grip from the inside as in the case of the first assembly and slide it on the steering wheel.

Grips Esi can of course be cut with a sharp tool to the right length to fit our steering wheel.

Maintenance:

ESIgrips are washed when the bike is washed or simply when we can not look at them because they are already so dirty.

For washing we use alcohol, window cleaner, and if the dirt is very strong and deep, we can use acetone.
