It creates a uniform lubricating layer that guarantees efficient and light operation of the bicycle chain and extends its service life.

⏩ How to use Brunox ® Top-Kett ® – bicycle chain lubricating and preservative

❗ Remember! Before applying the lubricating and preservative preparation BRUNOX ® Top-Kett ® , chain and the entire drive system should be cleaned ❗

Since BRUNOX ® Top-Kett® is a thixotropic substance, it should be shaken vigorously before use.

• ✅ aerosol preparation – apply the preparation with a nozzle on the chain
• ✅ liquid preparation – apply pipette olive oil to each cell

❗ We recommend leaving the chain for about 20-30 seconds so that the preparation penetrates into the gaps between the cooperating elements, and then gently wipe off the excess grease with a cloth, mainly the start of the olive from the outer parts of the chain. ❗

When using the spray preparation, pay attention to whether the rim and brake system components have not been sprayed. If the preparation is present on these elements, they should be washed with a degreaser.

⏩ Why is Brunox ® Top-Kett ® not available in separate versions for wet and dry conditions?

One of the priorities of the Brunox® brand in the case of a chain preparation is, in addition to lubrication, its protection against corrosion. Such protection is needed primarily in wet, rainy conditions. To ensure this, the consistency of the preparation must allow it to penetrate into the smallest gaps between the cooperating elements.

Therefore, the preparation seems to some too rare for harsher weather conditions such as rain?

We agree, denser lubricants last a little longer in such conditions. But their consistency does not allow them to reach all places rubbing, for their most accurate lubrication and just for protection against corrosion. In addition, the longer the grease stays on the chain, the more particles of sand, dust, asphalt, and all this negatively affects the condition, operation and service life of the chain.

Grease is enough even for a longer ride in wet conditions. However, after a long ride in such conditions, we recommend cleaning and lubricating the drive system again, because it is really the best solution to make our next trip run smoothly and pleasantly.

Therefore, Brunox® Top-Kett® is a very good lubricant for bicycle chains, for use in both dry and wet conditions.
