How to perform the leak test?

Step 1: turn off the car power, remove the air filter and throttle connector. Note: If you want to test EVAP system, you need to manually close the solenoid valve

Step 2: pour baby oil between max and min line oil volume, connect the power cord to 12V car battery, choose the right cone adapter to connect the smoke nozzle and system.

Step 3: Press the air control switch, wait 30 seconds and listen to the creaking sound to see if there is a leak in the pipeline or not.

Step 4: Press the smoke control switch, when the visible smoke appears from the smoke nozzle, re-insert the smoke nozzle into the adapter cone, the visible smoke can help determine the location of the leak.

Note:

1. When you use this ANCEL S100 car smoke leak detector for the first time, fill 20ml of oil. Be careful not to exceed this range.

2. Test liquid: Both liquid paraffin and baby oil are fine.

3. The fresh oil tank only fills when the smoke becomes thin and cannot be filled over 20ml each time.

4. Before filling fresh oil, pour the left oil into the sensor and replace the detector oil regularly.

5. During the leak detection process, keep away from smoke-sensitive parts.

6. Do not run the detector continuously for 8 minutes. He needs interval rest.

7. The detector has an intelligent protector, if it exceeds the working limit, for example, more than 75℃, it will automatically turn off the power supply. In this case, it should be operated later.

8. The round part of this detector has a temperature, be careful to avoid burns.

9. If the test pipe needs to be detached inside, the other side should be secured with rubber stopple.
