Purpose
Thunderbolt 3 docking station designed to expand laptops and computers with Thunderbolt/USB-C port with additional video outputs, network connection and multiport support for peripheral devices. The device increases the capabilities of the connected computer without the need for many separate adapters.
Video support
The station offers simultaneous video outputs for connecting external monitors; both HDMI and DisplayPort ports are available. The design allows you to support up to two displays and a signal in high digital resolutions, which works well for office tasks, presentations and working with graphics and video material.
Ports and connectivity
The device provides an extensive set of connectors: USB A and USB C ports in versions 3.2/3.1, a high-speed Thunderbolt 3 host interface with up to 40 Gbit/s bandwidth and a gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port. The built-in 3,5mm headphone jack and Kensington connector increase the usability of the station in a typical work environment. The kit comes with the cables necessary to connect the device.
Power supply
The station supports the USB Power Delivery standard and can supply power to a connected computer with a PD specification of up to 96 W. At the same time, internal power circuits operate at an output voltage of 20 V and are designed to work properly with the included power supply and compatible power plugs.
Design and compatibility
The case with compact dimensions and aesthetic finish in black and gray is designed to be placed on the desk. The station works with popular operating systems, including select versions of macOS, Ubuntu distributions, and Windows 10, and environmental parameters determine temperature and humidity ranges for typical office work. The set of circuits and controllers used in the device provides support for different types of signals and peripheral devices.
