Connect peripherals and power your computer with one cable

Connect Thunderbolt devices, monitors, USB peripherals, powered speakers, and an Ethernet cable to the docking station, then connect it all to your computer with a single Thunderbolt cable. Do you have a laptop? You can keep its power supply in your bag because the Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock will power it up to 100W charging power. When it’s time to go out, just unplug the Thunderbolt cable, grab your computer, and exit.

Internal SSD expansion slot – up to 8 TB of NVMe SSD storage can be added

The built-in M.2 NVMe SSD slot allows you to add up to 8 TB of SSD storage (SSD sold separately) to your system without connecting your storage device to an Echo dock or computer.

Installing the SSD is very simple – just unscrew the two screws that attach the bottom panel cover, insert the SSD, and then remount and secure the bottom cover. Transfer and access data at speeds up to 800 MB/s and easily store large files, media libraries or Time Machine® backups.

Built-in HDMI display support – no HDMI adapter required

The Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock features a built-in HDMI port, allowing you to connect your HDMI display directly to the docking station.

Faster Ethernet transfers over existing cabling – 250% Gigabit Ethernet speed

Equipped with 2,5-gigabit Ethernet, the Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock supports a link speed of 2,5 Gbps over regular Cat 5e cabling (or better) when used with a compatible Ethernet or NAS switch with 2,5 Gbps Ethernet support, saving the cost of another adapter. You can get a huge performance boost – 250 percent Gigabit Ethernet speed – without having to change the wiring! Do you need to connect to a switch without Ethernet 2,5 Gb support? The Sonnet docking station also supports 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps link speeds.

Double Thunderbolt ports – simple, end-to-end connectivity for work and play

The Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock features three Thunderbolt 4 ports: one for connecting/powering your computer – perfect for Mac and Windows laptops with only one or two Thunderbolt ports because they can be connected and charged on the same port – and two for connecting Thunderbolt peripherals directly.

Thunderbolt ports also support USB4 and USB 3 peripherals, and even provide 15W of power each to support the most demanding Thunderbolt and USB bus-powered peripherals. If your computer supports this, you can even connect another monitor.

Efficient USB-A and USB-C ports 10 Gb/s

The Echo 20 SuperDock is equipped with four USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) Type-A ports and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports – two at the front and two at the back – to support super-fast USB NVMe SSDs at full speed. Unlike some other docking stations, the Echo 20 also does not skimp on power – each port provides up to 7,5W to ensure that drives with higher peak power requirements can be assembled and run flawlessly. An additional advantage of USB-C ports is that they support the Type-C charging specification, allowing the docking station to charge devices even when the computer is off, dormant or disconnected.

Display options – Thunderbolt port connectors: Connect up to one 8K monitor or two 6K monitors

Depending on your computer’s video capabilities and whether your monitor has been connected to the built-in HDMI port, the Thunderbolt ports of the Echo docking station can support one (always 4K, 5K or 6K, up to 8K) monitor or up to two 6K monitors. You can connect Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C monitors directly or connect other types of displays (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc. ) using a Thunderbolt compatible adapter (sold separately).

Charging a notebook without a power supply – 100 W of charging power (Power Delivery)

When connected to a laptop computer using the included Thunderbolt 4 cable, the Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock provides up to 100W of power (Power Delivery), which means it can power and charge your computer when plugged in, even when not in use, allowing you to leave your computer's power adapter packed.

Dedicated RCA audio outputs

The Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock is equipped with stereo RCA connectors. RCA outputs deliver consistent line-level sound, combining a sweet music library with a pair of powered speakers. RCA outputs are also ideal for direct connection to a receiver, power amplifier or mixer.

Card reader- fast SD card reader 4.0 UHS-II

The included SD card slot is compatible with SD™, SDHC™ and SDXC™ memory cards and supports 320 MB/s read speeds with UHS-II SDXC cards for fast loading of photos and videos. microSD cards are also supported when used with adapters commonly attached to cards.

Thunderbolt 4 and ThunderLok 4 Cable – Sonnet includes a Thunderbolt cable and a security clip for the Echo 20 SuperDock docking station. The Thunderbolt cable supports full 40 Gbps bandwidth and 100W charging capability. The Thunderbolt ThunderLok™ 4 connector security clip prevents the cable from accidentally disconnecting by easily sliding on one end of the cable and attaching directly to the docking station with a knurled screw. Due to its unique design, ThunderLok stays on the cable so it won't get lost when not in use.

Kensington Lock Ready – Lock your docking station and keep it safe. Because the Echo docking station can hold up to 8 TB of valuable data, it’s worth securing it with Kensington® Lock (sold separately).
