The Kensington SD5000T5 EQ is an advanced Thunderbolt 5 docking station designed for demanding work environments. The single-cable Thunderbolt 5 host connection provides fast data transfers (80 Gbit/s, with Bandwidth Boost mode up to 120 Gbit/s) and the ability to power a notebook and connected devices up to 140 W in USB Power Delivery 3.1 technology. The station supports a full set of interfaces: 1 Thunderbolt 5 host port, 3 Thunderbolt 5 download ports, 3 USB‑A 3.2 Gen2 ports and a 3,5 mm headphone jack.

The SD5000T5 EQ offers enhanced video capabilities — supports up to 3 external displays (e.g. up to 3×4K@144Hz) or 2×8K@60Hz configurations (max. 7680×4320 resolution). The built-in SD and microSD card reader allows you to quickly copy files, and the integrated Ethernet interface operates in up to 2,5 Gbps mode, ensuring a stable network connection with high data flows. Housing materials include aluminum (PCR recycled aluminum coating), ABS and polycarbonate, which translates into durability and aesthetics of the device.

The device operates in the standard temperature range (0 to 40 °C) and is compatible with Windows 11 (23H2 or later) and macOS (14.5 or later).
