CARBON COLUMN WATER PURIFIER HYDRO PURE 100

The Hydro Pure 100 filter is a high-performance activated carbon water treatment plant. The system consists of a pressure cylinder from the renowned Eurotrol company with a size of 10×35”, a manual head for rinsing the bed, 5 liters of gravel ballast and 20 liters of activated carbon sprinkled.

The task of the station is to purify water from all chemical, organic and mechanical impurities (m.in. iron, chlorine, pesticides, phenols, suspensions, humic particles or silt) and its refinement (coal improves the oxidization of water, clarifies it and increases its taste).

The filter is equipped with a reliable manual head for rinsing the bed (we open the rinsing valve once a month for several minutes - rinses drain into the sewage system). As a result, the service life of filtering carbon is at least one year. After this period, the deposit should be replaced.

The station is dedicated to purifying well water and improving the quality of network water. If you place the highest demands on your water – the Hydro Pure 100 system guarantees their implementation. Its perfect complement will be a water softener from the Hydro series.

The device is covered by a full 3-year warranty. All components used have a food certificate of the Polish Institute of Hygiene.

The activated carbon station is a more hygienic solution than a hybrid device that combines the features of a softener and a carbon column by mixing the softening bed (ion exchange resin) with activated carbon. Activated carbon requires periodic replacement, because it absorbs chemical impurities and after a long time loses its properties and can even cause the multiplication of bacteria. Replacing activated carbon in mixed bed equipment is very difficult, which in the long run makes their operation unhygienic. They also use a small amount of carbon, which results in low cleaning efficiency.

Replacing the deposit in the station is recommended every 12 months of use. It is not difficult or time consuming. It is necessary to remove the device from the installation, unscrew the head and pour the deposit out of the cylinder, and then fill it with a new bed, turn off the head and reattach it to the plumbing system.
