Thanks to the SCANIA VCI 3 tester, it is possible to perform diagnostics at the authorized service level.

The tester offers a number of advanced features not available in universal testers.

Basic functions of the tester:

Diagnosis – allows you to read the memory of defects stored in vehicle controllers, allowing you to simultaneously delete, save and print error codes with a full description of them.

Measurement values are so-called. LiveData, i.e. displaying current parameters from sensors or actuators registered by the controller.

Identification of drivers – displaying detailed data, e.g. with serial number, software version, manufacturer numbers, encoding numbers, etc...

The execution element test, in other words, the commissioning of components are direct tests performed on system components, e.g. actuation of ABS modulators, activation of solenoid valves, e.g. lifting – lowering the vehicle or machine. This part of the diagnostics, otherwise known as active, allows e.g. in the case of a balance / disconnection engine, and this in turn is helpful, e.g. in compression assessment.

Calibrations are adaptations of individual elements, e.g. sensors for the needs of a given vehicle can be an example of calibration – adaptation of electronic throttles, accelerator pedals, active suspension sensors, assistance systems, etc...

Regulation / Coding / Programming are all kinds of reconfigurations of settings, e.g. disabling speed, power, torque limiters, activating hidden functions, disabling exhaust gas treatment functions, etc. *(to perform some reconfigurations, it is necessary to have optional extension add-ons so-called. developers such as e.g. encoding or configuration calculators).

Read/Write driver configurations – this allows you to copy driver configurations during their replacement or repair.
