ELM327 interface – usage guidelines

1. To get started with the interface, connect it to the OBD port in your car and connect it to the appropriate app.
2. The device works with almost all vehicles with a standard OBD2 connector (in Europe with cars with gasoline engines since 2001 and cars with diesel engines since 2004).
3. The OBD2 socket is most likely to be found under the dashboard on the driver's side. Try to find them before buying the interface.
4. The interface is compatible with Android and Windows devices (due to Bluetooth compatibility, it does not support some Android radio devices).
5. The device does not work with iOS!
6. The interface does not read or remove security-related errors (m.in. airbags, ABS, ESP, seat belt).
7. The device supports passenger cars (including those with a permissible gross weight of more than 2500 kg and light commercial vehicles that are obliged to operate and support the OBD2 protocol).
