in the car trade and in the metal and chemical industries. The SBS-CT-2000 is perfect for determining the thickness of car paint. The tester will quickly and accurately measure the coating of paint of ferromagnetic and non-magnetizing materials.

Exceptional measurement precision is ±3% + 2 μm (≤3000 μm) for high and low temperature fluctuations and ±5% + 2 μm (>3000 μm) for measurements of various metals, which ensures reliable operation. The result visible on the easy-to-read backlit LCD display can be stored in memory, which holds 2000 results. The equipment alerts you when the limit of stored data is exceeded. The measurement range is 0-2000 μm and allows you to determine whether the varnish layer is original or used, e.g. second layer.

The paint meter works in 2 modes:

with ferromagnetics by magnetic induction and with other materials by eddy current. For a precision probe, the minimum measuring surface is only Ø20 mm. The minimum radius of curvature for convex surfaces is 5 mm, for concave 25 mm. You can measure even on a curved or angular surface with high reliability of the obtained data.
