Paint thickness gauge P-13-S-FE
The handy paint thickness gauge P-13-S-FE can be used to measure the thickness of paint coating in cars. The device allows you to take measurements on: steel and galvanized steel.
It automatically detects the type of substrate being measured and displays the measurement result on a large, three-color, backlit LCD screen. It is characterized by a very wide measuring range (0 ~ 5000 μm) and high measurement accuracy.
The meter has a springy probe on a cable with a length of 80 cm. The probe is terminated with a ball that allows measurements to be made in strongly convex and concave places. An additional advantage is the built-in LED flashlight, automatic power switch and signaling the number of layers and putty.
The P-13-S-FE is powered by 2 x 1.5V AAA (LR3) batteries, which last for about 50 hours of uninterrupted operation.

Screen Color and Sound Help
The device has functions that are to facilitate the interpretation of the obtained results. The user will receive one of three messages:
- green display backlight and short signal sound - the meter suggests that the varnish is original
- yellow display backlight and two short signal sound signals - the meter suggests that the varnish substrate has been repainted
- red display backlight and long signal sound - the meter suggests that the substrate has been putty or repeatedly painted
