Purpose – industrial wastewater treatment plants
Enzymes contained in the preparation definitely accelerate the decomposition of proteins, fats and carbohydrates contained in wastewater, thus ensuring the start of organic matter decomposition processes by bacteria and further decomposition of wastewater into simple substances.
Enzymes contained in the preparation lead:
- Catalysis of peptide bond hydrolysis. Thanks to this, it can participate in the breakdown of proteins to a very wide extent. Peptide bonds are present in every type of protein and thus in most food products, which are the main source of potential wastewater (waste) Their source are: meat products, fish, milk and dairy products and cereal proteins such as m.in. barley, wheat, corn, rice, wheat, rye or soybeans, and thus are found in all kinds of flour products (groats, noodles, pasta, bread)
- Hydrolysis of bonds found in the amylose molecule, which is one of the components of starch. The product of this hydrolysis is maltose, which is a substance that is well soluble in water and is a source of food for bacteria found in the preparation. Thanks to this process, we convert water-insoluble starch into highly soluble maltose commonly used as a breeding ground for bacteria. Starch is a plant polysaccharide found mainly in cereal grains and potatoes, nuts and in some root vegetables and legume seeds. It is commonly found in the food industry (desserts, jellies, sauces, mayonnaise, gummies, instant foods, all kinds of thickeners, additions to cold cuts and pasta, etc.) Therefore, it is also the main component of potential sewage or household waste.
Action:
- capable of decomposition of household detergents
- nitrogen bacteria carrying out the process of nitrification (elimination of ammonia) and denitrification (reduction of nitrogen content in the wastewater)
- lipolytic bacteria that break down fats
- proteolytic bacteria responsible for protein breakdown
- keratolytic bacteria that break down hair and epidermis
- Cellulolytic bacteria responsible for the breakdown of cellulose contained in m.in. in toilet paper
- intensification of processes of decomposition and mineralization of organic compounds (proteins, cellulose, fats, carbohydrates)
- prevention of surface sheepskin coats
- liquefaction and reduction of bottom sediments in tanks
- decomposition of harmful substances
- reduction of unpleasant odors
- Improving the patency of drainage systems
- works under aerobic and anaerobic conditions
