TP-Link Omada EAP673-Extender is a revolutionary signal amplifier and business-class access point, operating in the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard. The device offers a powerful, total wireless network bandwidth of up to 5,4 Gbps (up to 4804 Mbps in the 5 GHz band with support for a wide 160 MHz channel and up to 574 Mbps in the 2,4 GHz band). Thanks to advanced technologies such as MU-MIMO and OFDMA, the extender is able to handle more than 250 client devices simultaneously, guaranteeing stable operation in demanding, dense network environments.

Dead Zone Slayer with Omada Mesh Technology

The EAP673-Extender is equipped with four external high-gain antennas that allow you to increase the coverage area of your wireless network by up to 140 m². Full integration with Omada Mesh technology allows wireless connection of access points, which eliminates the need for additional Ethernet cables. In addition, support for smooth roaming (Seamless Roaming) ensures that moving users are automatically and imperceptibly switched to the nearest transmitter with the strongest signal, without interrupting data downloads or video calls.

Centralized management in the Omada SDN cloud

The device is part of the TP-Link Omada SDN professional networking ecosystem. This integration enables central and 100% remote management of the entire network structure from a single cloud panel or an intuitive Omada mobile application. The user gains access to advanced functions such as customer authorization via the welcome page (Portal), maintenance-free configuration (ZTP - Zero-Touch Provisioning), work schedules or detailed network statistics.

Exceptional deployment flexibility and built-in AP mode

The design of the device has been thought out to simplify installation as much as possible. Simply plug the amplifier directly into a standard AC electrical outlet – without the tangle of additional power supplies. EAP673-Extender also offers a dedicated physical gigabit Ethernet port. It allows the device to operate in the classic Access Point (AP) mode. By connecting the internet cable directly to the extender, you will create a new, extremely fast Wi-Fi 6 hotspot without having to invest in PoE switches.
