The SC-GNW30 is the newest member of the Panasonic SoundSlayer family of gaming speakers. As the producer says, "puts the player at the center of the action - offering realistic, spatial sound without straining the ears."

The ergonomic design of the GNW30 combines a set of four speakers with wireless connectivity – now with HDMI 2.1 and Bluetooth. The SC-GNW30 delivers 4-channel surround sound, while the 5.1 gaming soundtracks are optimized for true spatial immersion.

Thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 technology in the latest SoundSlayer model, the GNW30 receiver can now also wirelessly connect to mobile devices. The battery lasts for 9 hours.

The Panasonic SoundSlayer system consists of a shoulder speaker and a separate wireless transmitter. To establish a wireless connection to the speaker, connect the transmitter to a compatible computer, gaming console or TV using a USB or HDMI cable.

Panasonic SC-GNW30 is now compatible with both macOS and Windows 10/11 computers. Xbox joins the list of supported consoles – next to Sony PS4/PS5 and Nintendo Switch (in TV mode). The GNW30 transmitter is also equipped with a subwoofer output.

The stable wireless connection of the GNW30 provides full freedom of movement and unlimited immersion in games. Thanks to the proprietary Panasonic wireless technology, the speaker is able to transmit sound in 6-channel format on a dedicated frequency of 2,4 GHz, with a delay of less than 20 milliseconds[1] – which makes it an ideal solution for the most demanding FPS players.

The new SoundSlayer app includes essential features such as equalizer, chat volume control, and sound modes. Players can create and save up to three personalized audio presets.

Panasonic SC-GNW30 also has three predefined audio modes for gaming, which are available via the button on the speaker. They optimize the sound depending on the type of game, automatically adjusting the EQ settings:

• RPG Game Mode - for a sense of realism

• FPS Shooting Mode – for accurate surround sound that lets players hear subtle sounds like steps

• Voice Mode – strengthens speech, e.g. in adventure games with clear dialogues

Microphones are located on both sides of the speaker. The GNW30 also uses AI voice processing, developed by Intelligo Technology Inc., to provide “excellent noise reduction by eliminating ambient sounds, including game sound effects, so that in-game partners only hear the voice of the SoundSlayer user.” Echo cancellation technology further enhances this functionality.

Blue LEDs on both sides of the Panasonic SC-GNW30 speaker and transmitter signal the player’s readiness for action. When there is a need to mute the voice, the lights will turn red, indicating that they are off. Players can also choose stealth mode by turning off the LEDs completely.

HDMI ARC compatibility makes the Panasonic SC-GNW30 the perfect TV accessory for people who want to enjoy a nightly movie without disturbing the rest of the household.
