The Azden i-Coustics PRO-XD is an easy-to-use and affordable digital wireless lavalier microphone system for camera mounts and mobile video applications. Its compact and lightweight design is the perfect solution for audio recording on the go. Ideal for video production, electronic news gathering and even mobile devices, the PRO-XD includes an adapter cable for compatibility with the headset inputs on most modern smartphones and tablets!

Using digital wireless technology, the PRO-XD operates in the 2.4GHz band, which is completely free from TV and radio interference. The PRO-XD output supports similarly priced VHF systems with better than CD quality digital audio, and provides reliable operation at distances of 100 feet or more with direct line of sight. Setup is very simple with automatic synchronization between receiver and transmitter. Internal lithium-ion batteries ensure long-lasting operation and easy USB charging.

Designed to deliver high-fidelity audio, the high output gain receiver with volume control mitigates the noise and hiss produced by low-quality camera preamps and eliminates the need for large adjustments in post-production. The PRO-XD transmitter uniquely includes an auxiliary line input that allows you to wirelessly transmit any stereo line level audio source and mix it with a microphone source as needed.

With its incredibly small form factor, the PRO-XD is the first true digital wireless audio solution for use with action cameras such as GoPro's popular Hero series (3rd party cable may be required for connection).

The complete PRO-XD system includes a transmitter, receiver and specially designed lapel microphone, as well as a mobile device adapter cable, audio output cable, USB cable and AC adapter for charging.
