Does the Archer BE400 have a 6 GHz band?

No. It is a dual-band router, i.e. it works in the 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It still supports Wi-Fi 7, but is not a three-band router with a 6 GHz band.

Will older phones and laptops connect to this router?

Yes. The router works with older generations of Wi-Fi. Older devices will connect to the 2,4 GHz or 5 GHz band, but will not take advantage of Wi-Fi 7 if they do not support them.

Is 6,5 Gbps guaranteed?

No. This is the maximum value according to the standard specification. Actual speed depends on devices, router settings, walls, interference, network traffic and internet service parameters.

Will I use the internet over 1 Gbps?
