MikroTik LtAP LR8 LTE6 kit (LtAP-2HnD&FG621-EA&LR8) is a waterproof, weather-resistant wireless kit. It includes an access point (LtAP) operating in the 2.4 GHz band and supporting the 802.11b/g/n standard, along with an R11eL-FG621-EA card for 3G, 4G (LTE Cat. 6) connectivity and an R11E-LR8 LoRa card.

With a built-in GPS modem and an automotive power input, this device is ideal for logistics and can be installed in various vehicles, for example, for route tracking.

MikroTik LtAP LR8 LTE6 kit features a new CAT6 LTE modem that boosts mobile internet speeds while lowering the LtAP's price. The LTE6 modem also supports carrier aggregation, allowing the device to use multiple bands simultaneously. This results in better responsiveness in crowded network areas and improved performance in rural areas with weaker signals.

The LtAP LR8 LTE6 kit can broadcast WiFi in the 2.4 GHz band with a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps (2x2 MIMO, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards). The maximum theoretical LTE Cat. 6 connection speeds are 300 Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads.

The LoRa 8 mode serves as a gateway to the Lora network. This protocol is used for wireless communication with the Internet of Things (IoT) in mind. It uses low frequencies (863 - 870 MHz), thanks to which it allows transmission over very long distances. It is perfect for connecting various types of sensors that download data. The R11e-LR8 supports 8 different channels in the 868EU band, Listen Before Talk (LBT) and spectral scanning.

The device is equipped with a dual-core processor 880 MHz i 128 MB RAM to cope with heavy loads.

LtAP can be powered by passive PoE, DC socket or connector adapted to connect power from the car. It happens that users power the LtAP with a 20 000 mAh powerbank throughout the day. The input voltage range is 12 - 30 V DC. LtAP has a special waterproof housing fully adapted for use outside buildings, mounted with special screws (screws and pegs are included).
