The JBL Authentics 500 mobile speaker combines classic retro style with solutions for the twenty-first century. Its appearance refers to the iconic style of JBL from the 70s. - it is equipped with a Quadrex grille, a housing covered with leather-like material and an aluminum frame, which not only looks great, but also provides excellent audio parameters. The speaker emits balanced and powerful sound, as well as fantastic clarity and deep bass.

The speaker emits realistic Dolby Atmos® Music sound in high-definition quality, which is achieved thanks to aluminum tweeters and the patented SlipStream™ bass-reflex port.

Excellent Dolby Atmos® sound

With the JBL Authentics 500 speaker, you can feel just like you did at a live concert! This is due to the power of up to 270 watts and 3,1-channel audio with Dolby Atmos® virtual system. In addition, the speaker uses three 2,5-millimeter tweeters and three 2,75-inch midrange speakers that deliver sound so clear that you can hear every favorite song with details that you may have missed so far. In addition, the device includes a 6,5-inch downward-facing subwoofer, as well as a patented SlipStream™ bass-reflex port, which together expand the bass tones to a new level that you will really feel.

Retro only from outside

JBL Authentics 500 is retro only superficially! It uses many advanced solutions, thanks to which you can listen not only to music, but also to podcasts or Internet radio. The speaker has a built-in Wi-Fi module, thanks to which you can easily connect to websites and listen to a selected song or broadcast in the high definition standard. You also have the ability to stream music from AirPlay, Alexa Multi-Room Music (MRM), Chromecast built-in™, and Spotify Connect – you can leave the room or even answer a call without sacrificing music playback. With a Wi-Fi connection, you also get automatic software updates and speaker features.

Maximum freedom of control

You can control the JBL Authentics 500 mobile speaker both through Google’s voice assistant and through Amazon Alexa, which gives you a lot more options than using just one of these solutions, including e.g. access to more streaming services. You also have a Bluetooth connection that allows you to easily share your playlists when you pair your speaker with any device that supports this technology. The JBL One app allows you to easily control and personalize controls that adjust high and low tones to best suit your preferences and bring out the best in your music.

Music throughout the house

JBL Authentics 500 supports multi-room technology, which means you can connect two or more speakers in this series together and set them in different locations to make the same music sound throughout your home. Each time you turn it on, the speakers automatically calibrate and optimize the sound performance in each room to best match it. An additional advantage of this speaker is that it was made partly from 100% recycled fabrics, 85% recycled plastics and 50% recycled aluminum, and its cardboard packaging is FSC certified printed with soy ink.
