The Phoenix Smart IP43 12V 50A (1+1) charger is an advanced battery charging management device designed for owners of boats, motorhomes and systems consisting of multiple battery banks. Thanks to the built-in microprocessor and the adaptive 5-step algorithm, the device automatically adjusts the charging process to the current needs of the batteries, which guarantees their extended life and optimal operation. Phoenix Smart offers two charging outputs (1+1), where the first output provides a full 50 A for the main battery bank, and the second, with a current of 4 A, is designed for the starter battery.

The charger has an advanced Bluetooth Smart function, which allows remote management and monitoring using a smartphone or tablet. Thanks to this, the user has full control over the charging parameters, which is especially convenient in places with limited access to the device. Automatic voltage equalization ensures consistent performance, compensating for any voltage drops resulting from cable resistance. What’s more, the BatterySafe mode effectively protects batteries from excessive gassing, limiting the rate of voltage increase when a critical level is reached. It is a solution designed to fully protect batteries from damage resulting from improper charging.

Efficiency and full automation of operation Phoenix Smart IP43 is characterized by high efficiency of 94%, which means that it minimizes energy loss during charging. The device supports a 6-degree adaptive charging algorithm, which allows you to fully adapt the charging process to a specific type of battery – including lithium-ion batteries. The temperature compensation function further optimizes the voltage depending on environmental conditions, which prevents overheating and thermal damage to the batteries. When the battery is not in use for 24 hours, the storage mode is activated, which reduces the buffer voltage, which minimizes electrode wear and prevents gas secretion. Every week, the voltage is automatically raised, which allows you to prevent electrolyte delamination and battery sulphation.

Remote switching on and off of the charger is possible using a relay or optical port from the BMS lithium-ion output, and all charging parameters can be modified using VE.Direct or Bluetooth. In addition, thanks to the full programmability of the charging algorithm, the user can adjust the operation of the device to the individual needs of their batteries.
