❗❗❗Remark:

1. Do not immerse the probe in a liquid other than pool or spa water.

2. Turn the switch to the closed position when not in use.

3. Please store the tester in a cool and dry place.

☑️Use

Before using the tester for the first time, adjust it to the water in your pool or spa in the following order:

1. Test your pool or spa water with a conventional liquid testing kit

2. Record the required chlorine reading level.

3. No pH adjustment is required.

☑️How to find the adjustment point for chlorine testing:

1. Insert 1 x 1.5V AA battery into the compartment in the holder.

2. Hold the tester in one hand and the probe in the other.

3. Insert the cleaned metal probes into the water until the black strip.

4. Stir the water lightly with the probe.

5. While the probe is still in the water, turn the knob located on the front of the tester all the way to the left in the "CL" direction. Slowly turn the wheel back to the right until the needle matches the chlorine level registered with a conventional liquid tester (e.g.: 1.5 ppm)

6. Remove the probes from the water without touching the wheel. The pointer will move all the way to the right and stop at the letter between A and E. This letter is your "adjustment point".

Note: Whenever you use this tester to test chlorine levels, you must adjust it to the "adjustment point" before testing.

☑️Chlorine Level Testing:

Recommended Chlorine Level for Pools and Spas: 1.2~1.7ppm

1. Position the needle at the "adjustment point".

2. Holding the tester in one hand and the probes in the other, insert the probes into the water until the black strip. Wait for the needle to rest for a better chlorine reading.

3. Leave the probes in the water.

☑️Test pH level:

Recommended pH Level for Pools and Spas: 7.2~7.8

1. With the probes still in the water, turn the knob all the way to the "pH" position until it clicks (the battery must be turned off for pH reading).

2. Wait for the needle to touch the pH reading.

3. Gently dry the probes and insert into the holder on the side of the tester for storage.
