Equipped with the latest Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 image sensor, the VS1 delivers clear images in 2K 1440P quality both day and night. Combined with a 140-degree wide-angle lens, it easily captures all relevant details such as license plates on the road. The Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 image sensor offers a much wider dynamic range, about 2,5 times larger than the STARVIS pixel of the same size, which translates into much less noise and motion blur when recording day and night.
Night recordings were significantly optimized for VS1. The IMX675 image sensor with larger pixels provides greater ability to receive light at the same lighting level, while 2K HDR technology balances extremely bright and dark areas to avoid overexposure and accurately capture license plates at night.
Cameras VIOFO are refined products equipped with all possible amenities - the entire camera can be controlled from the position of the phone (free application VIOFO for iOS and Android), we can view the recordings made and rip them to the phone. The camera has a built-in BLUETOOTH module - you can buy a bluetooth button to protect recordings.
The VIOFO brand used an active buffered parking mode in the VS1 camera. To use this mode, you need to connect the camera permanently to the power supply (we recommend connecting via the VIOFO HK5 power adapter available at another auction).
Active mode allows for maintenance-free operation and automatic switching to driving mode or parking mode.
How is the event detected?
Both the G-Sensor and the motion recognition function can detect an event and activate recording.
The G-Sensor detects shocks or vibrations to protect the current rebuke. The motion detection function responds when it detects the movement of objects moving in the field of view of the camera lens.
What are the advantages of parking mode?
This function was created in response to user demand. This solution allows you to quickly find a key recording, without having to search through all the video footage recorded during a stopover.

VS1 includes a 32 GB VIOFO MicroSD memory card
Car cameras require a memory card that can withstand a lot of write cycles. Cheap cards are the main cause of most inexplicable recording problems, have poor performance in continuous write endurance and are less likely to cope with harsh conditions.
VIOFO high industrial strength MicroSD cards, optimized for recording by a car camera, give greater assurances of compatibility and durability, significantly improving the quality of use of your car camera.

In the VS1 camera, the GPS module was placed inside the camera. Thanks to this solution, we do not have to install an external GPS module.
Thanks to the GPS module, geographical coordinates and speed can be added to each recording (the ability to disable this function in the menu).
When playing recordings made with the GPS module, we have the option of using DASHCAMVIEWER or the VIOFO application to recreate the passage of the vehicle along with tracking the route on the map.
The VS1 camera has a powerful WIFI module operating in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, which provides data transfer with 4 times faster speed compared to the 2.4GHz WIFI standard. The camera can be controlled using a dedicated application VIOFO, which is free for Android and iOS. The application was prepared in Polish.
In the application, we can change the camera settings, we can view and play recordings and rip them to the phone.
The power supply of the camera is based on supercapacitors, which guarantees stable operation even in extreme temperature differences. Power supply on capacitors allows you to safely finish recording and turn off the camera.
The VS1 camera is attached with a glass holder using a 3M sticker. This method of installation ensures a very stable mount and largely reduces the amount of space occupied by the camera on the windshield.
The adhesive tape holder is 180° adjustable, allowing you to optimally adjust the recording angle for different vehicle models and can meet your needs as a vlogging camera, allowing you to rotate the lens towards the vehicle cabin.
In addition, the set includes 2pcs of electrostatic films, which can be fixed between the glass and the camera holder. Such installation using electrostatic films will facilitate the subsequent disassembly of the camera.
