Effective configuration of transducers
NOVA are hybrid earbuds in 1DD+4BA configuration with 3-way composite crossover. Compared to HEXA, the original design assumption was to further improve high-frequency performance while maintaining a reasonable and efficient setup, as well as striving to provide users with mature hybrid headphones with a 3-way crossover structure at a reasonable price. NOVA uses a specialized dynamic driver with a diameter of 10 mm, which takes control of the bass. With mature production and processing technology, this unit with internal magnetic circuit is characterized by extremely low distortion, providing NOVA with better bass quality.
NOVA has a composite, double-balanced full-range armature transducer with an increased size, which is responsible for the midrange and part of the treble, which can be precisely adjusted to the frequency band of the dynamic transducer used, and the high-frequency band can also remain very consistent with the design goal.
NOVA implements a custom composite double balanced armature transducer, similar to the SWFK series. It is responsible for high tones, which further improves the bandwidth by adjusting the sensitivity of the balanced medium and high frequency composite fittings, lowering the Q value of the high frequency resonance peak as much as possible, resulting in better performance in the high register range.
Accurate hybrid frequency distribution
The acoustic waveguide structure with filtering function realized by the high-precision DLP-3D printing technology and RC frequency division obtained from accurate calculations makes the five transducers cope well with various suitable acoustic waveguides, so the objective NOVA indicator is closer to the HEXA-based design goal.
Excellent parameters
NOVA has slightly less bass gain than the HARMAN IE 2019 curve and is close to the high-frequency amplitude characteristics of the HARMAN OE 2013 with high HRTF characteristics for a warm, soft, clear and natural sound thanks to an all-new Q-value reduction design system.
NOVA has the same phase in the full frequency band and there is no typical connection problem that occurs in regular headphones with multiple drivers to achieve natural sound without phase distortion.
Next generation DLP 3D printing technology
HeyGears 3D printed housing is made of medical grade high transparency resin. It can realize complex, delicate acoustic waveguide structures while ensuring printing accuracy and efficiency. Plus, it provides a good fit and a skin-friendly finish.
A brand new, concise and reliable ID design
NOVA also provides an optimized, ergonomic shape and a high-precision 3D printed textured panel with a sandwich-like structure (front cavity, smooth curved lid and a few drops of adhesive filling joints) to ensure a beautiful front panel and a durable and reliable construction.
Equipped with a rich set of ear tips
In addition to the classic thin diameter ear tips, NOVA also offers short double collar ear tips, long double collar ear tips and foam ear tips with multiple stops. The peak of bad high-frequency resonance will retract further for dual-flanged ear tips, thus ensuring crystal clear and beautiful highs and further eliminating the impact caused by the peak of bad resonance, resulting in an exceptional listening experience thanks to a single transducer with balanced fittings - the classic ER4 to high-frequency NOVA. Foam ear tips with multiple stops can meet different embedding depth needs and help further improve usability with comfortable wear and excellent sealing.
High quality cable + rich expandability
NOVA has a versatile 0,78 2Pin interface with ear hook and a newly designed cable based on a monocrystalline copper conductor (4 conductors of 112 cores, a total of 448 cores), which provides excellent sound quality and comfortable use.
