Open Over-Ear Headphones with Dynamic Transducer

Aune AR5000 are the first full-size over-ear headphones from the company, which are distinguished by a sensational value for money. It is an open-ended model that is based on the na proprietary 50 mm dynamic transducer. Not only does it have a unique MLD membrane and a special rear acoustic chamber, but it has been positioned at the right angle, which translates into na better holography and a larger soundstage. The AR5000 is also a rugged yet lightweight design made of premium materials.

50mm dynamic driver

aune audio has equipped the AR5000 with a proprietary 50 mm dynamic driver with an MLD diaphragm, which is manufactured using a specially developed production process, and a DFB rear chamber. Both solutions guarantee minimal crossover vibrations in the 20 Hz to 20 kHz band, which translates na a lower total harmonic distortion than similar open-back headphones. The AR5000s therefore reproduce an incredibly clean, detailed and multi-layered sound that works well with a wide variety of musical genres.

Specially mounted transducer

The aune audio team not only used an innovative driver in the AR5000, but also placed it at a specially selected angle, which was calculated based na numerous simulations. This design helps reduce the “sound being locked in your head” effect found in many traditional on-ear headphones. This guarantees a larger soundstage and better holography.

Proprietary ventilation system

Aune AR5000 also have a proprietary, multi-directional ventilation system. The front and side parts of the ear cups are equipped with a number of ventilation holes, which guarantees effective airflow and reduces unwanted waves reflected in the rear chamber. This translates na higher sound purity and significantly improved vertical spatial perception of the soundstage.

Durable, lightweight and comfortable construction

aune AR5000 are characterized by a lightweight but durable housing made of aluminum alloy. The headband has a proprietary adjustment system, which guarantees easy adjustment to the size of the head. The company also used a leather band, which further increases comfort when wearing. The AR5000 can therefore be worn comfortably for many hours.
