Precise analog micrometer for outside measurements with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. The operation of the device is based on the use of a micrometer screw and a vernier. Precision micrometer screw with a thread pitch of 0.5 mm, connected to the micrometer barrel. A scale (vernier) is engraved on its perimeter. A ratchet clutch connected to the micrometer drum ensures an adequate, constant pressure of the jaws.
