EXPERT CHARGER 12 LCD 3in1 is a multifunctional electronic rectifier for charging and testing 12 volt batteries:

WET (liquid - acidic)

Microprocessor control system provides an automatic charging process. After reaching the required voltage on the battery, the backup status is switched to and the charging is automatically resumed after the voltage on the battery drops.

EXPERT CHARGER 12 LCD has 4 charging modes:

• STD – acidic liquid batteries WET and MF (additional winter mode)
• AGM – AGM, gel, EFB batteries (additional winter mode)
• CAL – calcium batteries
• LiFePO4 – Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries

Charging function of cold batteries: optimizes charging at very low temperatures (low temperatures can adversely affect the chemical structure of battery components).

The device allows you to verify:

• battery charge status and actuation capacity of 12V batteries used in vehicles (BATTERY TEST)
• functioning of the vehicle start-up system 12V (START-UP TEST)
• functioning of the charging circuit in a 12V vehicle (ALTERNATOR TEST)

Charging process

The 9-step charging process ensures optimal battery charging conditions. The automatic control system will adjust each of the 9 charging stages to properly charge the battery:

• STAGE 1 - Diagnostic - analyzes the battery and checks whether it can accept charging current; prevents charging the damaged battery
• STAGE 2 - Recovery charge – low voltage batteries are pre-charged with low current but with increased voltage; very discharged batteries can be restored to a usable state and this ensures a longer battery life, the stage is skipped if the battery is minimally discharged and in good condition.
• STAGE 3 - Soft start – the rectifier gradually increases the charging current to reach the set charging current
• STAGE 4 - Pulse charge – the battery is charged with pulse current (pulse fluctuations take place in the DC current range)
• STAGE 5 - Reconditioning – preparation stage for charging in the bulk charge stage
• STAGE 6 - Bulk charge – constant current charging to the previously set voltage (14.4÷14.7V)
• STAGE 7 - Absorption charge – after reaching the required degree of battery charge, there will be a change to constant voltage (CV) charging and the charging process will be completed
• STAGE 8 - Evaluation diagnostic - automatic monitoring of battery voltage after charging
• STAGE 9 - Maintenance charge – stage supporting the battery (float) and monitoring its condition; resumes charging with reduced current if necessary.

Physical parameters

The device is equipped with protection: thermal, against the formation of sparks at the pole terminals, against short circuit of poles, overload and reverse polarity.

Specially designed housing allows you to mount the rectifier on the wall, which will save valuable space in the garage or workshop.

Charging cables are 2 meters long.
